CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE SITE

DEFINITIONS

‘Application’ or ’E-learning application

Compulsory safety e-learning made available to external companies and their employees as part of the work carried out by external companies on EQIOM sites.

‘General Conditions of Use’ or ’GCU

The General Conditions of Use of the Website (hereinafter ‘GCU’) define the conditions of access to and use of the Website and its services, which the User accepts unreservedly.
‘Content

All the elements constituting the information present on the EQIOM e-learning application: the general structure, texts, videos, images (animated or not) and sounds of which the site is composed.

‘Personal information’ means

Any information relating to a natural person who may be identified, directly or indirectly.

‘User information’

Hereinafter referred to as ‘Information(s)’, which corresponds to all the data that may be held by the EQIOM e-learning application for user account management, user relationship management (whether the user is an individual or a legal entity) and for analysis and statistical purposes.

‘User’ means

Person specifically invited to connect to and use the aforementioned site.

 

PRESENTATION OF THE SITE

The Site is an e-learning application providing safety training and access to EQIOM company sites. There are two types of user for this e-learning:

Legal entities (companies whose employees visit EQIOM sites) whose accounts are created by EQIOM;
Individuals (employees, visitors, etc.) who visit EQIOM sites and whose accounts are created either by EQIOM or by their employer. Hereinafter referred to as ‘Trainees’.

After authentication, each of these Users accesses his or her dashboard which corresponds to :

A list of their employees registered on this E-learning course for legal entities;
A reminder of their personal details (surname, first name and e-mail address), as well as the training programme corresponding to their profile and access to their personal certificate once the training has been validated for individuals.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE AND THE SERVICES OFFERED

The General Terms and Conditions of Use (GTCU) define the conditions under which Users may use the Website, in particular in order to take the E-learning Security course and access their space.

Use of this E-learning Application implies full and unreserved acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Use set out below. These Terms of Use may be amended or supplemented at any time.

 

PERSONAL DATA

INFORMATION COLLECTED

The EQIOM e-learning application does not collect any ‘sensitive data’.

The information collected when using the e-learning application will be stored on a secure server. Access to this data will only be authorised to a limited number of people. In the case of data transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), EQIOM and its subcontractors guarantee the security of these transfers and the implementation of control mechanisms in accordance with the European regulations in force.

USER ACCOUNTS & CONFIDENTIALITY :

Trainee accounts are created on the basis of a digital form completed by the representative appointed by the company to carry out the assignment. When filling in the form, no sensitive personal data is requested.

The data to be entered is :

the user’s first and last name
the company they work for
the language required for e-learning

USER ACCOUNTS & CONFIDENTIALITY :

To ensure the complete confidentiality of trainee accounts, we recommend that users enter a professional e-mail address (or a personal e-mail address if necessary).

In the absence of an e-mail address associated with an individual account :

Information relating to the use of this account – in particular temporary identifiers for the first connection or after a password recovery procedure – will be sent to :

The e-mail address indicated as the contact for the company associated with this account, in the case of an employee

The e-mail address of the EQIOM administrator who created the account in the case of a visitor account.

To guarantee the security of User information, the User’s personal password is not indicated in the notification e-mail.

In all cases, the recipient(s) of emails relating to a trainee account undertake(s) :

Not to communicate any data received via this system except as strictly necessary and directly to the person concerned.
Not to use the information received to attempt to connect to the trainee’s account.

CONNECTION TO THE USER ACCOUNT

When the User is registered by the company representative, temporary identifiers are automatically created and sent to the e-mail address indicated on the form. The first time the User logs on, the password must be the same as the User’s password.

APPLICABLE LAW

The ‘Site’ and these General Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or performance of these provisions shall fall within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
